Suresh Raman is the founder and independent insurance broker behind RamState Insurance, helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what they have built and prepare for what comes next.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning mortgage lending, financial services, life insurance, and independent insurance brokerage, Suresh brings a broad financial perspective to every client relationship. His career began in mortgage lending, where he spent approximately a decade helping clients navigate home financing while developing extensive experience in sales, relationship management, and working with real estate professionals.

He later transitioned into financial services with MetLife, where he held Series 6 and Series 63 securities registrations along with his life insurance license. Suresh subsequently joined New York Life as a life insurance professional before establishing RamState Insurance in 2017.

Today, Suresh holds licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty insurance and works as an independent broker. Because RamState is independent, he can work with multiple insurance companies rather than representing a single carrier, allowing him to help clients compare solutions based on their individual needs, priorities, and budgets.

Through RamState Insurance, Suresh assists clients with life insurance, individual and family health coverage, Medicare, home and auto insurance, and commercial insurance solutions for businesses. He also helps clients understand how insurance can fit into broader strategies involving income protection, retirement planning, living benefits, and protecting the financial future of their families.

Suresh holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Management from Texas A&M University–Commerce. His combination of financial-services experience, insurance knowledge, business background, and technology education gives him a practical approach to helping clients understand complex choices.

Based in Frisco, Texas, Suresh believes insurance should be more than simply finding a policy. His approach is to understand the client first, explain the available options in straightforward terms, and build long-term relationships as their insurance needs evolve.
